Join us for Dance This Way 2018!
Hang up your winter coat and put on your dancing shoes because the Felix Organization is gearing up for our biggest fundraiser of the year this Spring: Dance This Way on Monday, May 14th, from 6pm-10pm.
New day and time...same wonderful purpose!
Dance This Way is a non-stop dance party to raise money for NYC-based foster children. We will dance till we drop at Arena NYC in Manhattan where approximately 300 people will move and groove to support foster children.
The event will feature cocktails, delicious food samplings from New York's top restaurants, stellar DJs and live entertainment, a live auction, and more! Guests will enjoy a special performance by our very own, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels with show emceed by Donnie Kehr, from House of Cards and Broadway’s Jersey Boys.
If this sounds like something you want be part of, getting involved is easy:
First, go to dancethisway.org to start your own team or join a friend’s team.
Once you’ve registered, you can share the link with your family and friends asking them to sponsor you to dance the most steps at the event.
Dance This Way is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year, our goal is to raise $275,000 minimum to support our current programs and allow us to expand our services to meet the most pressing needs of our foster population.
To motivate our teams to help us reach this goal, anyone who raises $150 or more will gain free entry to the event. If you’re feeling especially ambitious, here’s another challenge:
Guests who raise $500 or more will receive 2 event tickets.
Guests who raise $1000 or more will receive 6 event tickets to distribute to friends and family.
All of the money raised from this event goes directly toward sending children in foster care to Camp Felix. We guarantee this will be the most fun you ever have raising money for a great cause!
If you are unable to attend the event, you can still be involved by donating money to a friend’s team or to support the “Future Dreammakers” team on dancethisway.org. Every amount counts.
